The InventHelp inventor video
Listen to what our inventor clients have to say about our work!
InventHelp can submit your idea to companies in the hope of obtaining a good faith review. InventHelp packages your invention professionally and prepares a submission brochure. Sources for submission include but are not limited to the InventHelp Data Bank.
These companies have agreed to review our client inventions in confidence. Companies registered in the InventHelp Data Bank cover a variety of fields and range in size from small to large corporations. The majority of our registrants are small to medium size companies. We are not aware of any other inventor services firm that has access to a similar Data Bank.
InventHelp attends a number of trade shows where it uses professional displays to try to establish new contacts and Data Bank registrants for InventHelp. Please note that InventHelp does not normally display individual inventions at trade shows. Please feel free to view a list of trade shows that we will be attending this year.
InventHelp will prepare a publicity release announcing the availability of your invention idea but not disclosing its working details. Your publicity release is submitted to trade publications and other media, and it is also submitted through an online publicity distribution service.
Our Client Services representatives are available Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM EST, to answer questions relating to InventHelp's invention services.
The Virtual Invention Presentation (or VIP) is a DVD containing 3D renderings and computer-generated animation of your invention. It provides viewers with a more tangible understanding of how your invention may work in practice. In the submission brochure, we inform companies that a VIP is available upon request and a small percentage of companies request VIPs after receipt of an InventHelp client's submission brochure.
InventHelp can produce an invention prototype model of your idea made of ABS plastic that will provide a physical representation of your invention idea. InventHelp can have a computer-aided drawing (CAD) of your invention prepared. Using your CAD and a technology known as Fused Deposition Modeling, InventHelp will make a prototype model for you that can be submitted to companies upon their request.
InventHelp can refer our clients who want invention patent services to an independent licensed patent attorney to provide a preliminary patent search and opinion. Based on the opinion, the attorney may then help prepare and file a US patent application for the idea with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
InventHelp also hosts INPEX, America's Largest Invention Trade Show. The three-day event showcases inventions, new products and innovations available to business and industry.
Exhibits at INPEX vary greatly by size, industry, application and stage of development. Some inventions are simple. Some inventors display blueprints or sketches while others have prototypes or even an inventory of finished products. More than 40 invention product categories are represented at INPEX each year.
InventHelp clients can participate in INPEX in a variety of different ways depending upon your invention's level of development and its patent status. InventHelp clients may be able to purchase a booth and attend the show in person, exhibit their invention to attendees, attend INPEX's Inventor University, participate in Corporate Product Searches, participate in the INPEX Virtual Trade Show, or exhibit their invention in InventHelp's Inventor Galleria at INPEX. Please speak with your InventHelp sales representative to discuss which options may be available to you.
InventHelp gives no advice to whether your idea is patentable. Such advice may come only from a patent attorney or licensed patent agent. If you wish patent advice, it is advisable to seek advice from an independent patent attorney.
