Everyday Edisons Season Two Casting Calls
Thomas Edison was possibly one of the greatest inventors of all time. With more than 1,000 invention patents to his credit, Edison transformed the modern world with inventions such as the photograph, incandescent light bulb and talking motion picture. Now, a television program named in his honor is looking to find the next Edison among us!

After a successful first season, which will begin airing nationwide on Public Television this fall, the crew at Everyday Edisons is again scouting cities around the country to look for new products. Last season followed the trials and tribulations of seven inventors, who were selected from thousands who auditioned. The show has now set its sights on Season Two.
If you think that you have a quality new invention, Everyday Edisons is conducting casting calls in various cities. They recently appeared in Indianapolis and Houston, and future dates are planned including Chicago in October.
As an added bonus, Erik Thompson, finalist from the TV show American Inventor, treated casting hopefuls in Houston to an appearance. If you were a fan of this show, it's impossible to forget the energetic, passionate Thompson, who invented "The Catch Vest" to help football players improve their catching skills.
After
his experience on American Inventor, Thompson appeared at INPEX® 2006.
Here, he mingled with like-minded inventors and entrepreneurs, and engaged the audience with his presentation "How To Let Your
Passion Come Through In Your Pitch." Thompson will offer more useful pointers and insights at INPEX® 2007.
