InventHelp® Client's "Gribbers" Invention in the News

"No More Sticky Fingers – Local Resident Invents 'Gribbers'"

From The Messenger, a newspaper in the New York City market area

No More Sticky FingersBearing her children in mind, an inventor client of InventHelp® has developed an item to prevent sauce-covered foods from leaving a huge mess.

"When my kids were little, they didn't want to get their hands all messy," said the inventor. "So I came up with a simple and more sanitary way to eat messy foods.

Though she is restricted from describing the invention because she has yet to receive the patent, the inventor says the product, called "Gribbers," may help eliminate any contact between hands and finger foods, like barbecued ribs, fried chicken pieces, corn on the cob, and buffalo wings.

"It was about a year and a half ago that my husband and I drew up the prototype and brought it into [InventHelp®]," said the inventor.

The inventor claims Gribbers could be produced in disposable or reusable versions, as well as in various colors, and it could include company logos. It would ideally be used, she continued, at steak and rib restaurants, during outdoor barbecues, for appetizers at weddings, or by children – like her own – who do not like messy foods.

The inventor has lived in the area with her husband and their three children for the past 14 years. She is a certified dental assistant working locally.
