Marc Bouvier, an InventHelp client, and his partner PMI, showcased their patented recreational golf technology, the Shot Breakers system, a concept that brings excitement to a typically mundane outing at the range by incorporating audio and visual concepts that, in the words of Mr. Bouvier, "turn the driving range into a thriving range."
A 3'x4' hollow square sits firmly atop a metal stand that is positioned between 10 to 20 yards away from the individual – depending on the shot he or she is practicing. Infrared signals travel north and south within the box, capturing the data as the ball passes through it, and transfers that data to the digital display, or into audio in the form of a woman's voice.
A successful shot that passes through the center of the box will yield the shooter 10 points and create the sound of breaking glass accompanied by a roaring crowd. The point system allows for friendly competitions, and the 12 hour rechargeable battery ensures a full day of fun and entertainment.
Joseph Diresta, Director of Product Development for InventHelp's Intromark, stated, "The Shot Breakers System had the entire crowd captivated, and with constant traffic to the booth all day, it was obvious just how much people enjoyed it – no matter their ages or skill sets."
Designed to help refine touch and trajectory, the Shot Breakers system has been well received at driving ranges, corporate events and by individual golfers looking to perfect their games.
