Festive Inventions You’ll Be Thankful For

It's that time of the year where diets and exercise fall to the wayside in favor of feast, friends and family. We at InventHelp® savor the holiday season for plenty of reasons (one being that we can't get enough sweet potato casserole), but we also love this time of year for the inventions it inspires. In celebration of Thanksgiving, our InventHelp family recommends these holiday-inspired decorations to make your meal one to remember.

Of course, food is the superstar of Thanksgiving, but let's not forget to set the holiday atmosphere. Try decorating with fall-themed holiday wreaths and colors, like warm orange hues and earth tones. Create a centerpiece with an arrangement of pumpkins, squash and other autumn vegetables. To make the centerpiece really stand out, the Candle Carver from Solutions.com transforms an ordinary fruit or vegetable into a decorative candle holder. The stainless-steel tool includes blades to carve out a small niche in apples, pears, squash and more. The indentation created by the tool is just the right size for a tea light candle. The festive Candle Carver invention retails for $12.95.

Thanksgiving InventionsTo appease the olfactory systems of your holiday guests, check out an invention called the Fan Fragrance Air Freshener. It revitalizes the home with the wonderful scent of lavender without the need for spray cans. This invention attaches to your ceiling fan via easy-to-use fasteners, keeping it completely out of view. Then, the user simply turns the fan on to spread the fragrance evenly throughout the room. The Fan Fragrance Air Fresher kit includes two refills and two bonus refill in special scents, and is available for $9.95 at our sister site UnseenOnTv.com.

Now that the environment is right, it's time to move on to the good stuff – like gravy! As gravy fanatics know, nothing says Thanksgiving like drowning a plate of turkey, potatoes and fixings with a nice pour of gravy. But, inevitably Thanksgiving involves second (and maybe third) helpings, and by then the gravy can be cold.

With the help of Gravy Boat with Warmer, also from Solutions.com, gravy can stay perfectly heated. The porcelain gravy boat includes a small section underneath to accommodate a tea light candle. So even if your Thanksgiving feast goes on for hours, the gravy can last as long as you do!

Since everyone is trying to save a little money these days, the inventions featured in our story costs less than $25 a piece. Plus, two of them use tea light candles, which are inexpensive and can be purchased in bulk from many major retailers. When it comes to holiday celebrations, you don't have to break the bank to make the evening special.

We at InventHelp are thankful that we are involved in the fun of working with new inventions every day. But, we'll admit that we do like the extra vacation days at this time of the year…it helps us to rest up and get ready for the next wave of new inventions after the holidays! Happy Thanksgiving from InventHelp!
