Parenting Products & Innovations Awards Program Now Accepting Entries

As always, to ensure that your intellectual property rights are protected, you should consult with a patent attorney before submitting your idea to this or any other contest.

Let parents know about your innovation! Time is growing short to enter innovative parenting products into this year's annual "Best Resources for Parents" Awards Program. Now celebrating its eighth year, the National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) Parenting Resources division is an awards program recognizing the best in parenting product innovations, such as baby gear, maternity and breastfeeding products, and gadgets. The competition is open to new products and innovations, as well as "How To" tapes, videos, Web sites and publications. The deadline for the 2006 competition is December 30, 2005.

NAPPA Gold Award-winning products will receive coverage in parenting publications and on a national Web site for parents, including:

1. 28 regional parenting publications across the nation.

2. Parenthood.com, one of the largest Web sites targeted towards an audience of parents.

Gold and Honors Award winners receive an award certificate and the opportunity to display the official NAPPA seals for their innovations.
