In late August 2005, Hurricane Katrina swept across the southeastern coastline of the United States, wreaking havoc in its path. Thousands of lives were lost and countless more were left homeless. In response, Americans flocked to aid the unfortunate people who were affected by this tragedy.
We at InventHelp® share the deep sadness and the sense of patriotic duty that gripped our nation in Katrina's aftermath. As a result, our company resolved to help expedite the difficult road to recovery that our countrymen face.
First, InventHelp® initiated a company-wide relief effort, promising to match whatever dollar amount our employees contributed to aid the victims. We raised a total of $10,680, which was divided equally between the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army for their disaster response efforts.
In a second program, InventHelp® announced that we would donate $25 to the relief fund for every new client who entered into our services during the month of September. Through this endeavor, we were able to contribute an additional $20,475 to aid our fellow Americans.
We at InventHelp® remain deeply affected by the destruction enacted by Katrina, and our hearts continue to go out to the victims as they attempt to regain some semblance of their former lives. Although our modest contributions can do little to reverse the effects of catastrophic misfortune, we are proud to join so many compassionate people and companies from across the country – and around the world – whose humanitarian efforts may in some way alleviate the painful rebuilding process in our southeastern states.
InventHelp® is proud of the quick response from our employees and sales representatives, and we feel that their actions speak louder than words about the type of people who make up our company. On behalf of InventHelp® and all our affiliated companies, we would like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the people who made our Hurricane Katrina relief efforts possible.
