"Handi-Rail Could Increase Patient Strength and Mobility"
From the June 2002 issue of Home Health Products, a trade magazine for home medical equipment suppliers.
Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® has announced that one of its clients from Texas
has invented a universal device for the home health market. Allowing
people with physical limitations to become more independent, the "Handi-Rail"
medical invention is intended to reduce the amount of time, effort and fatigue often
felt by family members, health care workers and medical staff
when caring for patients.
Handi-Rail allows the user to incorporate physical therapy and exercise to increase body strength and encourage independence. Handi-Rail is designed to help users be more independent, as well as lessen their depression and fear of falling.
