"New Safety Guardrail System Invention"
From Construction Dimensions, a building and construction trade magazine
InventHelp®
introduces Temp Rail™, a temporary steel safety post that
attaches to the edge of open wooden landings, making construction
sites safer. One major benefit of this new construction invention is that 2-by-4s slide
across the posts, creating an easily removed barrier for loading
and unloading materials on and off the construction platform.
Temp Rail™ is strong, durable and easy to use. Simply attach two posts, no more than 8' apart, to the edge of an open construction platform, using 3" decking screws. Standard size 2-by-4s of appropriate length lay horizontally in brackets, which are integral to the posts. Removing and replacing the 2-by-4s allows materials to be delivered to the work area quickly without compromising safety.
The Temp Rail™ construction invention is reusable. The temporary railing is fabricated of welded, 10-gauge steel. Suggested tradesman's price is $96 a pair.
